Mini Bookshelf Tour...
The BFF asked me if I'd do a bookshelf tour. I wasn't going to.. and then I got bored. I thought I'd end up saying more about what was on my shelves, but decided I didn't like talking to air/nobody... so it just came out to me saying a whole lot of nothing. Also... I didn't realize the videos were supposed to be so long. And why do people go over every single book one by stinkin one?? That's crazyness! I don't have the patience for that haha. (And... really? I sound like an idiot.)

music variety
I've decided I have the strangest taste in music... ♥ lol. As in... I can go from listening to Hanson to listening to Disturbed to listening to Tim McGraw to bopping around to some BABY GOT BACK to Disney songs and... random random random songs on the radio and such.
Maybe this just means I'm extra awesome. Let's go with that.

Endometriosis Awareness Month 2012
I love and support my bestest friend, Nikki!
Wear yellow in support of those suffering.

Tried to get the dogs in on the support, too...
but as you can see, it didn't go as planned.
(Blurry, Brodie not looking at camera, Ezie's missing a head)

Mom didn't have a yellow shirt, so I made her a bracelet.
Showing her support for Nikki with a spoon. #spoonie

Ezie adventure...
Ezie, my 5 pound Chihuahua, decided to make my weekend a little more interesting. I had gone to use the computer in our apartment complex “business center” Saturday evening, so while I was gone, the pups were in their kennels. I wasn’t gone very long, maybe two hours at most. At some point in that time, Ezie managed to hurt herself. I’m not sure how she managed to do it, but I noticed the dewclaw on her left front paw was sticking out sideways.

The only thing I can think of is she got it snagged on her bedding, as she is in DESPERATE need of a nail trim. She had a slight limp and was shaking and loving me up and didn’t want to move around much. She shakes more than usual and gets extra lick-y when she’s in pain, and I’m not sure why. Anyway, that’s when I noticed the nail sticking out. I wasn’t entirely sure what to do about it, though she obviously she needed a vet. It was bent right at the toe, so I wasn’t going to mess with it. If there was going to be blood and pain, it wasn’t going to be my doing. As it is, Ezie wouldn’t let me near her foot. She’d fuss with her leg, licking at it and sniffing at her toe, and then she’d cuddle up against me again. (Or follow me around. I have an old pillow randomly lying on my bathroom floor at the moment, and during a bathroom break, she followed me in and cuddled on the pillow. I don’t get much privacy with my dogs.)

After a while, Ezie seemed to be doing ok. Still cuddly, but she started acting as usual. I was paranoid about her injuring herself further, though, so when she started getting extra feisty and tried to jump attack Brodie, I decided it was time for rest and put them both in their kennels to eat. The rest of the night was pretty mellow.
With my weird sleep habits, the pups spent Sunday morning in their kennels while I slept. I wasn’t willing to risk more injury to Ezie’s toe. When it was time to wake up, she was jumping and running and altogether making me nervous about her stupid nail. I had plans for a few hours in the afternoon, but once I got home, it was time to go to the emergency vet, regardless of her peppy behavior.
We’d been in the car for maybe 5 minutes, having gone maybe a mile or so, when I noticed the nail was missing. Where the heck did it go and when did it fall off? Mom pulled the car over and we inspected Ezie’s toe. The nub of nail remaining on the toe looked painful, and she still wouldn’t let me touch her foot, but there was no blood. This is positive, right? It means it wasn’t as bad as it looked. I’m still a little worried about her toe possibly being broken, but with the nail being gone, I don’t feel it’s such a risk of more injury. So, we turn around and go back home. After dropping Ezie off at home we went to Dollar Tree for some junk. I found the wayward nail on the floor of the car.

We’ll get her into the vet within the next few days for her nail trim, and if she’s still acting bothered by her toe I’ll have it looked at. She seems to at least feel better without the nail hanging off sideways, and I didn’t freak out when she attacked Brodie to play, so that’s good.

midnight mutterings.
I got a random urge to write a pointless blog post at about midnight (Sunday night/Monday morning) but because my computer access location is closed, I couldn’t run across the parking lot and log on lol. SO I’m typing this on the dinosaur computer in my bedroom. I’m going to add it to my flash drive when I’m done, and post it later. Good plan, if I do say so myself. I’ll probably do a couple of entries this way, actually. Ok… let’s move on.
Last May, we got a new sectional sofa and new table/chairs set. I'm pretty sure I blogged about it all at the time, but lacking regular access to a computer, I was never able to post the pictures I'd taken. It's not really very exciting to me anymore because the couch turned into an annoyance pretty quickly. Turns out it was cheaper quality than it appeared in the store. Part of the couch was delivered broken because it couldn't withstand the pressure of the delivery guys’ couch-tie-strappy-thing carrying it up the stairs. We got the stupid thing "fixed" but I'm not impressed and I want to smack the no-longer-cute guy at the furniture store that lied about it being MADE IN OREGON. Friggin' sticker on the bottom of the couch says “Made in China.” It figures.
ANYWAY, please enjoy these blurry pictures of our “new” couch, table and chairs. Yes, that’s my cat Doohickey; previously annoying cat turned couch potato with the arrival of the new couch. (That was weird getting used to. She didn’t sleep on our old couch very much.) And that’s the first meal enjoyed on our new table. It tasted a hell of a lot better than it looks in the picture.

Also, a random photo of the cake I made for my moms birthday, May 31st, 2011.

I’ve decided to add a page to my blog for projects I’ve done. So far, I mostly have some pictures of jewelry I’ve made more recently. I never used to think about taking pictures of my completed projects. Some of which include: wooden tic-tac-toe boxes with clay game pieces of various themes, random magnets, pens with fake flowers attached and wrapped with floral tape. I used to be pretty into making cute soaps and jars of bath salts, too. I’d say most projects I’ve done haven’t been amazing lol. Some of the jewelry I make is pretty quick and unimpressive, and some I take my time and have positive results. With my new addiction to pinterest.com, I’ve found an abundance of amazing craft projects I want to try. It’s a craft project idea overload and I love it! One project I’ve seen on the website and have recently started is making necklaces out of metal washers from the hardware store. It takes a little patience, of which I tend to lack, but so far, I’ve had positive feedback. Once I get more necklaces fully completed, I’ll start taking pictures. I’m pretty excited about it. (I’d probably be more excited if my new paper punch wasn’t such a butthead, but that’s a rant I decided to skip for this post.)
Does “Fur-Kid Friday” have a good ring to it? I’m trying to decide if I want to start a weekly blog post. Some people have one, like Wordless Wednesday, but I’m not so sure if I should start one. With my luck, as soon as I get good about posting once a week, I’ll end up losing my regular internet access lol. Anyway, my thought is posting pictures of my pets every Friday. I’m just not sure if it would be new pictures taken during that week, or any pictures I feel like posting that day, or both. If I decide to stick to only posting pictures of my pets once a week, I may not have anything to post about every other day lol. My life is rather boring… it’s all about my fur babies. Speaking of which, Brodie is now 5 years old as of March 8th, Ezie will be 3 in May, and Doohickey will be 6 in June. My babies are growing up so fast! Insert a sniffle and a single tear falling here. ;)
Well, it’s 3 in the morning and my mind just went blank. I guess that’s all for this post!
I'm adding two digital-scrapbook pictures before I end this. Haleigh! And Cocoa. (RIP 2010)

What to write...?
***I posted this on my other diary... so I'm cheating and posting it here, too.***
I haven't written a real entry in ages. And honestly, if I did, it would go on my blogger account. I just have nothing worth saying anymore, and even if I did, nobody reads it anyway lol. I like Blogger better, but I don't feel a community there. It's much easier to find and connect with people on (insert other diary site here...haha). Hmph. Too bad I can't mash the two sites together lol.
My -piece of shit hell hole- apartment complex renovated their office/gym building. The gym is now smaller, the office is now smaller, but there is a big club house area that now includes free internet access on 4 computers for the residents. I mean, this is all well and good... I do enjoy free internet access. It just sucks that the apartments are still hell and I can't wait to get the fuck out lol.
Our evil shit upstairs neighbors with their 5-8 kids that made noise litterly 24 hours a day... moved. In December or November. Normally I would have done a jig in celeration, but they moved to the apartment RIGHT BELOW US instead. What fucking moron in the office thought it'd be ok to move them right below the people (us) that complained about them all the time? The very first night they spent downstairs, the very next morning, they started banging on the ceilings. REALLY?! Not even gonna wait a week??? Seriously? I got right on the phone to tell mom the shit had already started. All I did was walk from the kitchen to the couch, and happened to find the extra creaky spot in the floor. Any time I stepped near it, they hit the ceiling. Mom called the office to complain they were already getting back at us, and the office called them to say grow up, that shit won't fly. lol Ok I mean those probably weren't their exact words, but whatever.
FYI: we still hear every noise they make. The only thing that really changed is now their kids don't run on our heads 24 hours a day. Every once in a while I still hear the little guy jumping on the bed, but it's a vast improvement to before. I still hate them all, and I still hate hearing their screams 24/7 and random thuds and banging and yelling and... HATE HATE HAAATTTEEEE.
Today, I'm watching our new upstairs neighbors move in from the window next to the computer I'm on. I can already sense the doom. I mostly saw a bunch of teen boys moving boxes. Boys = noise. I finally saw the dad, but, that didn't ease the doom. And when I mentioned the new neighbors to mom via text, she said she tried to smile at one of the boys earlier, just being friendly, and he gave her a dirty look, looked to his friend and said "what the fuck?"... DOOOOOOOMMM.
On the positive side of life... Christmas was great. Free, unlimited (just about) access to computers with internet so close to home is great. The free chocolate sometimes in the bowls on the counter when I come to use the free internet is also great.
Ok... honestly, other than that? There really isn't much going on lol. I can't think of anything else to write now. So. Yup, I guess that's all I'm posting for now. TTYL.

feb. 13th... yep.
Sooo have decided "My Heart Skips a Beat" by Lenka is cute song. Yep.
Yeah, nothing much more to report lol. Using computer in "business center" at apartment complex. Exciting, no?
Ordered new luggage this morning. 4 piece set for $98.99. WOOT. It's pink with white and black polka dots. Awesome.
Random fact. The monster bags that Nikki and I invented, mom tweaked and has sold a whole bunch of? Well... there are some in the following places. Oregon (clearly), Washington, California, Idaho, Montana, Utah. Off the top of my head. One in France, too. There was also one that went to Indonesia but I'm unclear if it was just visiting or if it lives there now. Random, there is also a cow face bag in Morocco... just sayin' lol. Monster bags are copyrighted by the way... so to the people from farmers markets and bazaars... stop stealing them, thanks.
Now... just random Twilight curiousness...
In the movie version of New Moon, Bella punches Paul. Ok. But when she then punches Jacob in Eclipse, she breaks her hand. Excuse me, who screwed up in New Moon?
Now... in the book version of Twilight, is it made clear that Edward is the one who killed James? Because, in the movie, it's actually ALICE who rips James' head off, but still in New Moon/Eclipse Victoria is out to get Edward/Bella because Edward killed James.
Hmm ok I guess that's all I'm really curious about right now lol.

my heart is playing tricks on me
So. Got addicted to a new website. Pinterest.com. THANKS NIKKI. Now whenever I have computer time I spend like half (if not more) of my time on pinterest. SUPER lol. So many awesome craft ideas though. And pretty shoes. *sigh*
"In another life
I would be your girl
We'd keep all our promises
Be us against the world"
I need to get some luggage. I love luggage. Sadly, I drool for cute luggage. But I don't really have any. Weekend trip type luggage. Actually going somewhere on a plane luggage? Not so much. Gonna need some soon though... Virginia is calling my name. Or rather, Nikki is saying dammitcomevisitmennooowww. Yep. Luggage required.
I put a couple books on hold at the library on Monday. Have I gotten my call yet? NO! How rude. Hurry up people, I would like to read those books you are hogging.
I'm a member of too many websites. I've been making a list, trying to remember sites, log ins and passwords. It's scary long. I gotta work on that. It's not cute.
How does one listen to a song on a computer without speakers? That's annoying. I'll have to listen on a different computer, I guess. (Probably one in the new "business center" at our apartment complex. Sweet.) I like the lyrics to the song, so the song itself should be ok, too, right? (Posting lyrics below.)
I haven't truly blogged in a while, and I don't really have anything to say. Besides, the only person that really reads this thing already knows everything. I guess if I had more time around a computer, I'd have more of an urge to make the effort and actually post something worthwhile. *shrug*
Anyway, I've decided that's all for now. So. Toodles.
Lenka - My Heart Skips A Beat
My heart skips a beat, my heart skips a beat
My heart is playing tricks on me
And it’s building bricks on me
I can’t break through
And I can’t face you
My world is turning slowly now
But it’s burning up somehow
I need some time
To know what’s right
‘Cause it’s only in the quiet that I feel some relief
I’m trying hard not to resist the joy
Don’t listen to me I’m being paranoid
I might try hard but it’s too hard to avoid
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
My heart is always first to know
And as the feeling grows
I can’t deny push those thoughts aside
My world is full of loveliness
But I focus on the stress
My heart says “Go” but my brain says “No”
And it’s only in the quiet that I hear myself breathe
I’m trying hard not to resist the joy
Don’t listen to me I’m being paranoid
I might try hard but it’s too hard to avoid
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
Oh I know this time ’cause it’s physical
My blood has stopped and I am breathless as well
But I need a minute to convince myself
‘Cause it’s only in the quiet that I know what to feel
I’m trying hard not to resist the joy
Don’t listen to me I’m being paranoid
I might try hard but it’s too hard to avoid
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
I’m trying hard not to resist the joy
Don’t listen to me I’m being paranoid
I might try hard but it’s too hard to avoid
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
So. Toodles.
My heart skips a beat, my heart skips a beat
My heart is playing tricks on me
And it’s building bricks on me
I can’t break through
And I can’t face you
My world is turning slowly now
But it’s burning up somehow
I need some time
To know what’s right
‘Cause it’s only in the quiet that I feel some relief
I’m trying hard not to resist the joy
Don’t listen to me I’m being paranoid
I might try hard but it’s too hard to avoid
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
My heart is always first to know
And as the feeling grows
I can’t deny push those thoughts aside
My world is full of loveliness
But I focus on the stress
My heart says “Go” but my brain says “No”
And it’s only in the quiet that I hear myself breathe
I’m trying hard not to resist the joy
Don’t listen to me I’m being paranoid
I might try hard but it’s too hard to avoid
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
Oh I know this time ’cause it’s physical
My blood has stopped and I am breathless as well
But I need a minute to convince myself
‘Cause it’s only in the quiet that I know what to feel
I’m trying hard not to resist the joy
Don’t listen to me I’m being paranoid
I might try hard but it’s too hard to avoid
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
I’m trying hard not to resist the joy
Don’t listen to me I’m being paranoid
I might try hard but it’s too hard to avoid
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat
My heart skips a beat

photo entry
I don't have much to say, honestly. Life is about as usual as it can be. Nothing stupendous to report. So. Just a few pictures to share. (Oh. Brodie did have surgery the Thursday before Christmas. He had 2 teeth yanked out of his skull. Poor boy. He's better now though.) TTFN.

Some of my favoritest people. Loves.
Cousin, Aunty, Uncle.

Just me.

My cat, chillin' in a closet.

My happy chihuahua.

My happily sleeping half-chihuahua.
