I adore Gabriel Iglesias :) Seeing him perform live last Saturday was awesome. Yay for one of his old Comedy Central specials on tonight woot woot! :)

Phoning it in...

Well, texting a blog entry seemed cool in theory. I'm not real sure that a message of about 150 characters should be considered a blog entry. Seems more suited to facebook or twitter. But for a quick update, and for my lack of constant access to a computer, it'll have to do.

I wish my phone decided it liked me again. I've had problems uploading pictures to websites from my phone for nearly a month now. It's sad and it's frustrating as all get out. GRRR and such.

Obviously I'm not texting this entry. I'm using my moms work computer while she's at choir practice. (She works at a church.) Random information.

Today is my cousin Bob's son Austin's 7th birthday. Kids grow up too fast; especially when I only get to see this one once a year. Oh goodness, every year he's older! haha. Crazy. I can't believe it's already been 7 years. Happy Birthday, Austin!

Alright, I really have nothing to say... I just felt the urge to blog. So I did. :) I'm going to end this now with a picture I took earlier this month. It's not amazing, but it makes me happy.

Haven't used this blog in a while. Not much computer access these days. Just thought I'd try this mobile blogging thing.. :) We'll see how it goes.

challenge update, catagory change

My aunt likes to loan me books... and she just loaned me most of an entire series. I'll fill the gaps by checking them out via the library. Anyway, because of this... I'm changing one of my challenge catagories. I'm still reading just to read, and writing it down as if I'm still doing the challenge... but I'm not really. My interest isn't really in it anymore. no interest

I've been stuck on my challenge book 12 for quite a while now. I can't get myself sucked in. I can't keep my interest in it, and therefore I have no desire to really pick up the book. It's a classic and everyone seems to enjoy it. It's not a bad book at all... I just can't get into it. I'm not sure why. I want to finish it... so I'm still trying. As for the challenge... I'll still go along as if I'm reading for the challenge. Number my books and such. But I highly doubt I'll hit half of the books for the challenege. I think I like the idea of reading because I want to better than doing it for a "fun challenege." If that makes sense at all. I'm just not going to push myself. It's supposed to be for fun, and I'm not really finding interest lately... so I'm not going to worry about it. I'm planning a 50th birthday party for my mom. Her birthday is next Sunday. I think making sure things get done for the party is more important than trying to get a bunch of books read for a challenege. And anyway, Mandy averaged it out... you have 4.5 days to read each book. I've been known to read books in 2 days or even in one day... but that's if I did nothing but read. I don't want to spend my whole year just reading and sleeping.

Anyway, I'm distracted and can't keep a straight thought to be able to write more... so I'm done for now.

book 11

I'd just started my 11th book for the challenege when the pain was too much to deal with. I couldn't focus and then after a couple days went to the ER. I have TMJ Syndome or TMD. It's no fun and I'm not going to ramble on about what it is in here. I still haven't gone farther into the book because now that I know what's wrong, I'm on vicodin. I'm sleeping most of the time now since going to the ER. I've only got a couple pills left so I'm trying to avoid taking any unless the pain kicks up too high. I'm gonna try in a little while to read again. Hopefully I can concentrate cause it's book 3 from a series I've enjoyed so far and I want to enjoy it as well. Blah
